Summary: Oberlo is for me the easiest dropshipping plugin to use. However, their plugin is only available on the Shopify platform (bought out by Shopify) along the Oberlo support is only chat based.

This is why I put this review together, to help you make the best decision for starting your dropshipping business. Enjoy !

Free Oberlo Starter Plan ($29 per month for Shopify)

You've probably seen the millions of dollars people are claiming to be making with dropshipping. There's countless case studies, and success stories out there promoting this business model.

I was skeptical about such a plugin that would allow me to sell products online and make a profit. Not to mention, I wouldn't have to hold any stock. Along with avoiding the typical headaches of an eCommerce based business.

I knew that dropshipping would allow me to get started with an online business, and I knew that I could avoid many of the issues or upfront investment that most other businesses take to start.

In this Oberlo review, I'm not going to sell you on the magic of dropshipping, but rather how you can use this plugin to help you with product fulfillment for your eCommerce business.

Is Oberlo Free?

Yes. Well, not exactly.

It is 100% free to use Oberlo with their starter plan. Then once you reach a minimum of 50 orders per month, you must upgrade your plan to basic at $29.90 per month, or pro at $79.90 per month.

Sounds fair enough.

However, in order to use Oberlo you must be using the Shopify platform. Altogether, Shopify costs a total of $29 per month.

Additionally, Shopify does have a 14-day free trial, in which you can setup your entire store with Oberlo before launch.

So no, neither platform is exactly free to use forever, yet rather a great springboard to get started with your dropshipping business for a minimal cost.

What Is Dropshipping?

I get it, honestly when first getting started, it was confusing to me too for exactly what dropshipping is. Here's a short video from Oberlo themselves explaining the business model:
